Rural Youth Empowerment through Skill Training
Empowering rural youth through skill training and placement support

Unemployment among rural youth is a pressing challenge, particularly for those from marginalized SC/ST/OBC communities in Maharashtra, India. Limited access to quality vocational education and formal job markets often traps these young individuals in a cycle of poverty. The Rural Youth Empowerment through Skill Training program is designed to break this cycle by equipping youth with practical, industry-relevant skills that lead directly to sustainable employment and financial independence.
Our mission is to train, mentor, and empower 1,500 rural youth by providing them with hands-on vocational training and dedicated placement support. By focusing on high-demand local trades, we aim to transform unskilled individuals into confident professionals and micro-entrepreneurs who can support their families and stimulate their local economies.
Through this comprehensive program, the Paramanand Jeevan Vikas Foundation provides a holistic approach to youth empowerment:
Specialized Vocational Training: Intensive, hands-on courses in tailoring, electrical work, and beauty services led by experienced industry instructors.
Career & Placement Support: Direct assistance with job placements, resume building, and interview preparation to ensure graduates secure stable employment after completion.
Entrepreneurship Development: Guidance, mentorship, and basic toolkit support for ambitious youth who wish to start their own small businesses and shops within their villages.
Soft Skills & Financial Literacy: Foundational workshops on effective communication, workplace etiquette, and basic financial management to ensure long-term career success.
